Richard Aldridge

Position: Employment solicitor

Richard Aldridge joined Asher Prior Bates in 2006 as a consultant and now works as a solicitor in their Employment department along side Doug Frame.

Richard brings with him over 20 years’ experience in industry where he gained extensive personnel management experience at all levels. Before transferring to the legal world, he formerly headed a division in a worldwide consulting company, where he was responsible for business development and consultancy services.

In his consulting role, he has also worked on various projects in over 25 countries. He is a both chartered engineer and a corporate Member of the Instiutute of Engineering and Technology.Because of his background, Richard specialises in all aspects of human resource management and employment law.

In addition he utilises his commercial experience to assist local enterprises with all legal aspects of their businesses, including contract negotiations, litigation & dispute resolution.

Outside Asher Prior Bates Richard is also Chief Executive of the Colchester Citizens Advice Bureau, and is currently chair of the local strategic partnership, Colchester 2020.
