Michael Hicks

Position: Head of Family law and Litigation department

Michael graduated with a degree in law from the University of Essex before going on to obtain a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the College of Law in London. In 2008 he was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors.

At Asher Prior Bates, Michael heads the family law and litigation department. He has experience in most areas of family law and contentious law, concentrating mainly on litigation. The department is also known for its specialist legal knowledge in mobile home law and has worked with mobile home parks across the UK.

Not just a talented lawyer, outside work Michael is a keen footballer and budding solo singer and can be found performing at a variety of venues and functions.
