Last Wednesday Asher Prior Bates were offered the opportunity of presenting to the officers and families of 16 Air Assault Brigade at Merville Barracks.  16 Air Assault Brigade are the British Army’s premier rapid response formation and in such a position it is essential that the guys keep on top of their own personal legal matters, so that if deploying quickly their personal and family affairs are in good legal order. 

We made sure topics for the evening covered every day legal matters army personnel would need to know.  These included buying, renting and selling a house, plus Wills and lasting power of attorney.  

After the presentation it was a great chance for specific questions to be tackled and Wills seemed to be quite a hot topic; some couples not realising since marrying their Will had been revoked.
